We've teamed up with Activkids to help schools raise money to fund Rocktopus workshops!
Activkids can come to your school, bringing in a Team GB or Olympic athlete to challenge the children to a fitness circuit followed by an inspirational assembly discussing the importance of healthy eating, fitness and mental health.
They've raised over £100,000 for schools in the last year alone, helping them to get exciting experiences for their children and now they can help you raise money to get us in to your school!
What's more, if you take the Activkids Rocktopus Funding Challenge, Rocktopus will take £100 off the cost of your workshop!
How does It work?
Children are sponsored to compete in an exciting and challenging fitness circuit with a famous athlete. The children ask close family or friends for sponsorship, ensuring that parents/ family friends only donate what they can afford. When the big day comes, the children complete the fitness circuit with the athlete in order to claim the sponsorship money.
Every child involved gets a thank you prize as well as the chance to win additional prizes. Once the challenge is complete, the children return to the hall for an inspirational assembly led by the athlete.

Organising this couldn't be easier! Just follow these steps.
Step 1:
Contact Rocktopus and let us know know you're interested in funding the workshop through the Activkids funding offer. We will send you an email with all the information you need to know.
Make sure your chosen date is at least 8 weeks away. When booking, let Rocktopus

Step 2:
If you decide to go ahead, let us know what date you'd like your Rocktopus workshop (must be more than 8 weeks away) and we will send you a booking form and an invoice for a reduced deposit of (£200) The deposit is to confirm the workshop and the money will be paid back to the school from the sponsorship money.

Step 3:
Rocktopus will put you in touch with Activkids who will arrange a phonecall with you to talk through the fundraising process and book your athlete visit.
FAQs
What happens to the sponsorship money?
There will be a small admin fee taken by Activkids UK from the sponsorship money and then anything raised above that will be split 70/30 between the school and their athlete fund. 30% goes to the Activkids UK athlete fund which helps their unsponsored athletes with their training, helping them get to the next Olympics or funding competitions they have coming up. The other 70% is to be used by the school to pay the balance for your Rocktopus workshop, with anything above this cost going back to the school to use as you see fit.

What if we don't raise enough money?
If the school doesn't raise enough money to pay the full Rocktopus fee from sponsorship, the remainder of the workshop and travel fee will need to be paid from the school budget.
